The Impact of Upgraded Closets
ClosetMaid® recently conducted a survey titled “Upgraded Closet Study in New Home Construction” to examine whether or not consumers value and/or want upgraded closets when choosing to build a new home. The survey tested select upgrade features builders often offer to consumers to better understand whether upgraded closets are preferred and how much homebuyers are willing to pay for these enhancements. Overall, we found that not only are homeowners willing to pay 10% or more for a home with upgraded closets, but also, the vast majority of homeowners (69%) found upgraded closets appealing in their new home search.
